Graduation!!! Officially...

Well, I'm officially Weber State Alumni and it feels WONDERFUL!!! I graduated May 1st (crazy how time flies) and it was such a blast! I've been 'finished' with school since December so this was just the celebration part. I feel so fortunate when I reflect on my past 4 1/2 years in college. I have had some of the greatest times of my life throughout my college years! My college days started out with Kasie Carlos...Kasie and I carpooled every day and had every class together for the first two years of college...those were some awesome days! I wish I had some pics on my computer from our first years but unfortunately those were still my 'old fashioned' days when I actually developed all my pictures...I need a scanner for those ones...Once we 'parted' and decided on different majors I met some of my best friends I have now and some of the most influential people in my life. I really loved school, really! I actually miss being in classes and learning. I learned a lot about health promotion and nutrition but I believe I learned more about myself and what is most important in life. I know that I am a better person for all the experiences I've had. I also feel so fortunate to have such an awesome job that I absolutely love.
Dinner at Sonora Grill with Shelli, Jessica, Gordon, Jodi, Tate, and my sweet hubby:) I met Shelli and Jess in my degree and they are some of greatest friends I could ever hope for... Tate graduated from Utah State the next day...congrats!

The man who stayed with me through it all! My last semester of college was probably one of my toughest. I was constantly doing homework and Marc was such a lifesaver in so many ways! I wasn't the most pleasant person to be around and he was so supportive and patient through it all. Marc is one of the biggest reasons I chose the field I did and I couldn't be happier. He always believed in me and is constantly helping me be all I can. Marc made sure I had a special graduation day by making me French Toast for breakfast (my favorite!), praying it would rain (I also LOVE the rain!), giving me beautiful purple flowers, and so many more things:) He really pampered me and made sure I knew he was proud of me...I love you so much!

When I got home from graduation this was a surprise from my wonderful in-laws! Jill was so sweet to come to the graduation and do this for me for the rest of the family that couldn't make it. They say when you get married you marry the whole family, which is so true! I love Marc's family so much, they really are the best in-laws ever!
Rachel and I with our beautiful flowers from our sweet husbands:)

My wonderful family that came to support me, Mom, Kayla, Wyatt, Josh...I have the best family in the whole wide world! They were all so kind to make it a point to congratulate me and make me feel so loved.

Marc's grandparents had 3 graduates on this busy day and they were so supportive to come! I look up to them so much and feel so blessed to be part of their family.

Health Promotion Graduates!!! I'm sure gonna miss seeing all those faces...

Human Performance Graduates!!! I'm also gonna miss seeing these faces...

My good friend Catherine Hall...We met in an aerobics class we had together and discovered we both loved aerobics so much we studied hard and became aerobics instructors ourselves! We've been through some awesome certifications together and I learn so much from her...Catherine is such an awesome girl...if it wasn't for her I don't think I would be teaching classes now which is one of my favorite things in the whole world!

I really wouldn't be here if it wasn't for these two amazing people in my life. My mom and dad instilled in me at a young age the importance of education. I always knew I would graduate from college because I had wonderful parents that lead by example (both Wildcat Alumni) and made it possible for me. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful gift they have given me. I love you mom and dad!
